2003 F-250 4x4 prod date 01/03

VIN 1FTSW31P03EB99000 6.0L Auto

 

1. New HPOP

2. HPOP COVER

3. New IPR to CYA.

4. Hot-tank intake manifold.

5. Inspect EGR valve-replace as needed

6. Updated turbo oil drain tube.

7. Updated turbo oil supply tube?

8. New oil cooler

9. Iat 2 <price it's really clogged> already cleaned it but?

10. Gaskets?

11. EGR cooler hose?

 

I don't know what gaskets, hoses, bolts, o-rings, etc come with which kits?

2. HPOP COVER 3C3Z-9G805-AA (comes with new IPR installed)

3. New IPR to CYA. CM-5054 (but not needed if you're replacing the cover above)

4. Hot-tank intake manifold.

5. Inspect EGR valve-replace as needed CX-2056

6. Updated turbo oil drain tube. 6C3Z-9T515-A

7. Updated turbo oil supply tube? 3C3Z-9T516-A

8. New oil cooler 3C3Z-6A642-CA

9. Iat 2 <price it's really clogged> already cleaned it but? DY-984

10. Gaskets? 3C3Z-9439-AA (Intake Gaskets)

11. EGR cooler hose? 3C3Z-9433-BJ (EGR Cooler Hose, "Donut" and turbo bolts)

I don't know what gaskets, hoses, bolts, o-rings, etc come with which kits?

And don't forget 3C3Z-9T288-AA which is the discharge tube too. I assume the purpose of this post is a request for part numbers.

You da man...I never did believe that shit they said about you...!!!

 

This site and it's members are the best. I always save this stuff for future use. Hopefully I can find a building to rent so I can do more of these. Only problem for me is my back really doesn't like doing this stuff cab-on...old age is a bitch.

After doing the same job, so many times it gets a little repetitive, so I make it a habit of memorizing part numbers to help expedite the parts request/ordering process. For some reason, I find the 2003 versions of these engines to be more of a pain to wrench on than the later versions. It helps much more when you have an assistant standing outside to pass the heavy parts to (intake, turbo etc.). I use an old Focus seat cushion on top of the rad support to prevent my huevos from being crushed.

Shit they said was a joke...my dad was a huge agitator and loved that saying.

 

As for part numbers I kept a list I had laminated. Just gave it to parts guy and let him page me when he was ready.
