Matt Saunoras
A little while ago I read something on the FMC boards about a sleeve coming loose from the degas bottle and lodging itself somewhere in the cooling system. I never thought too much about it until today. Anyone know how far this thing can travel or what concerns it might cause if it ends up somewhere it shouldn't be? Is it possible for it to make it all the way to the front cover? This bottle was in my truck until today.
Keith Browning
Proof that idiocy is still alive on the FMC boards. That sleeve could not make it past the plastic 3-way tee mere inches below the degas bottle let alone the curve in the hose itself. Since yours is now out of the truck, pull that sucker out and compare it to the tee on the hose it conncts to... you know, where it splits off to the heater and the front cover.
