Steve Mutter
Does anyone know if these long blocks get the updated high pressure oil pump adaptor. I have a 2006 f-550 that got a long block around 2 years ago and I was just wondering if fqr's got them installed.
Keith Browning
Since the one-piece fitting was available in February of 2007, it makes sense that any FQR reman engine built after that time would have it installed.
Steve Mutter
I was kind of thinking that, thanks
Bruce Amacker
It's possible they didn't because they had a shitload of the two-piece style on the shelf. I know Ford dealers were selling the old style over the counter to the aftermarket for several years after the new ones were released. You got the old ones unless you knew to ask for the new one piece style......
lmorris
I had an FQR 6L 2 years ago that had the two piece with the support bracket. If you do the math, that's well past the 2007 release. We quickly fixed that.
mchan68
Only one way to find out, is to pull the HPOP cover off before installing the engine.
