byounger
My first time replacing injectors on the 6.7 is not going very well. I got a couple that are shorted and performing tsb 11-10-10. Man where did they get 4.7 hours for this repair and why the need to replace all 8. What kind of tools you guys using for this repair. I now know I should have bought those snap on sockets, I see my snap on guy tommrow. I used a 17mm flare nut socket but wasnt to happy on how it fit. and definitely need to up-grade my torque wrench to one with more teeth for better torquing of the lines. Keith Browning
The Snap-on sockets are perfect as they do not interfere with the plastic connector or fuel return nozzle. Installing the injectors and torquing with a crows foot or a standard line socket requires care and a little patience. I finally got to use my sockets. Well worth having.
