tonybullitt
I wonder why replacing exhaust valves in left cyl head fixes this concern.
Alex Bruene
I read that TSB yesterday and kind of threw up in my mouth a little.
DieselD
for a whopping 14hrs too!! Ahhhh but look at it this way, Ford figured it out for you! But, I agree, 14 hours? Bend over bitches!
lmorris
It has to be a sealing issue with the exhaust valves. Since the left bank is used for regen fuel supply and not the right. First person to do this needs to see if there is a visible difference in the valves.
Matt Saunoras
I just changed all 16 on that early 11 that I shortblocked. The valves are visibly different on the bottoms but other that that I didn't notice anything other than the cracks. I will have my parts guy check to see if that's a TSB valve or the ones I used
Mikill
Yeah 14 hrs to replace valves on a cyl head and I just replaced a long block for 18 hrs from the other tsb. Some thing is not right!
joshbuys
Working on a Long Block now for the other TSB, 14 hours to do the valves in one head is gonna suck!! Makes me think it might be time to get out of the dealership....my hours are steadily dropping over the last several years....and I'm pretty sure it's not the lack of broken vehicles, but the decrease in warranty labor times on everything....
