Cetane
I thought everyone might like to see some new spy shots of the '07 super duty. They have been posted on thedieselstop.com forums(not by me).
Keith Browning
Can you post a link to the post? I can't find it! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shrug.gif I would love to get my hands and my eyes on those pics.

Keith Browning
Thanx, that works. Interesting but not very revealing. After reading the thread I too wonder if this is the real thing or a mock-up test mule. Unlike many of these yahoos out there I won't lose any sleep over it... yet. If you can't make cutting and pasting of the link to the post with the pictures work, CLICK HERE.
Cetane
The hydraulic launch assist is interesting but I agree more with the other guy that said it may be exhaust aftertreatment. It seems more likely since we havent heard anymore about that since it appeared in the concept truck. The EGT gauge would be nice but it would probably be too small to be of real use(doesnt look like much room in that cluster housing, unless some other gauge got deleted). It will probably be just like the idiot lights we have now that just look like gauges. I certainly wont be losing any sleep over it. I just hope it is calibrated right. You don't suppose that they would actually put that tank on a production vehicle do you? What was it for? If I remember correctly, isn't that supposed to be a urea solution of sorts? That's good, so when the idiot light goes on that the tank is empty are they supposed to pull over and pee in the bottle? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rofl.gif
Torqued_Up
Looks like a cat to me. It must be pretty big because it looks kinda like its outside the frame. It's gotta be a cat.
WGLR13MWZ
That is a Diesel Oxygenation Catalyst (DOC). Simmilar to a CAT but it has a honeycomb material made of diffrent metals including platinum, that regenerate heat to burn off the particulate matter.
