leavnon3rd
I tend to see things in waves by me and ive had 3 in 2 weeks do this, 2 are 2007 f550s, the other is a 2006. complaint is no crank, all 3 trucks have multiple dtc's stored for just transmission related codes, ( tft, range sensor and i cant remember the last) unplug the starter wire connector nextto the pass. battery and jump it out, cranks and fires all is well!! sometimes it will crank now and other times it wont again. IDS reads park, neutral and enables starter function. just by some last miracle idea, i unplug the fan clutch(after having crank no start issues in the past with them), problem goes away! It never had any other dtc stored. Change the clutch the problem goes away and the transmission dtc's disappear? anyone else see, have seen this? Aaron
Seen fan clutch = no start before but never the trans codes. Maybe it runs onto same vref circuit as the trans?
Keith Browning
VPWR is more likely.
leavnon3rd
It does run into vpwr after checking some diagrams afterwards

lmorris
There have been SSM's about that concern since 2004. Don't see many but they are out there. The other diesel guy here just finished one for the same thing
