batmantech
Just wondering if everyone is having problems getting those turbo inlet and down pipe ,at the turbo, clamps off. I have never had a problem with these on any other engine. It seems like the positioning of the clamp makes it difficult to tap on it and snap it away from the pipe. How is everyone getting them off. lmorris
I loosen the clamp last, that way the pipe is loose. I open the clamp just enough to get the pipe out and leave it on the flange. Don't try to pop it over the flange like you can on a 6L EGR cooler.
Alex Bruene
I spray them with penetrating fluid before starting the job. By the time I get to them, they pop off on their own when you loosen them.

lmorris
Also a Snap-On B3404B brake adjuster works nice too.
Matt Saunoras
Snap-on flat blade screwdriver. Get it under the clamp and twist. The snap on drivers allow you to get much better grip. Penetrating oil does help a lot too.
DieselD
I spray them with penetrating fluid before starting the job. By the time I get to them, they pop off on their own when you loosen them. Thats the ticket. I learned this way back in the 7.3 days
batmantech
I will give that screwdriver/ spray tip a try thanks. On all 7.3 ,6.0, 6.4, a simple tap with a punch at the correct angle and they would all pop right off.
