Josh
Hey guys. I got a 05 6.0 with a cracked branch tube today. I got the pump out. This is my first branch tube replacement. lmorris
Do you have access to Ford manuals. There really are no short cuts and the procedure is laid out nicely. It helps to have either long arms and fingers or a second set of eyes when putting the bolts back in down by the lifter holders. You do have to remove the rear cover. You will need the valve spring compressor tool that allows you to remove the rocker arms with out removing the head bolts.
Steve Mutter
I think if I had to do it again I would just pull the motor out and do it that way.
Matt Saunoras
Any chance you can post a pic when you get the old one out. I've been dying to see a cracked branch tube!
Aaron
Rather than spend all that time with up/down, laying over top of the engine, etc. - I'd pull the engine, myself.
Keith Browning
Any chance you can post a pic when you get the old one out. I've been dying to see a cracked branch tube! Here ya go! These things are rare to find. I think my shop has only seen TWO after all of these years. I have several pics but I don't think I have ever seen another pic anywhere. Josh
I got the Rear cover off, valve covers and oil rails off. Has anyone tried going through the stand pipe hole?
Alex Bruene
It helps if you're able to remove at least one of your eye-balls and attach it to a stick.

Aaron
well, after googling "pans labyrinth monster" that's probably in the top 10 of most fucked up things I've seen in a long time.

Brad Clayton
It's actually a good , but crazy ass movie. Hit up the Netflix when your bored and check it out. It's subtitled though.
