Keith Browning
I am having trouble updating my IDS software. Our IDS makes it ti the start download screen and freezes, then gives an error warning. I am not sure if it's the Tough Book or our network. Tried calling the Hot Line and they were closed for training. Also, on the Rotunda site the latest version is 45.X but the TSB for the injector cycling states 46! They also mention going to Motorcraft.com. Long story short, I downloaded 45.X from home and burned a disk. Hopefully it's 45.9 and I can update some of these trucks for the rough starting. ON EDIT: Worked just dandy!
Jim Warman
I updated one of my IDS the day the TSB became available in Canada... version was 45.9. Updated the other unit yesterday - 45.10.
Torqued_Up
Hey! Who redecorated? I reprogramed a couple of these and it worked! I was skeptical I admit but I still wonder how many will still need an injector or two Time will tell I suppose
FordTechCA
piece of advice on IDS, dont throw away the disk you loaded IDS with or your most recent IDS disk. from what ive heard they are getting away from sending disks out and all updates will be from the web. so if for some reason you need to reload IDS the only way to get the calibration part of the IDS program is off your most recent disk. as for updating IDS, during the beta testing i found i had the least amount of trouble updating if all antivirus programs were disabled or turned off. just incase your not doing that now.
