Keith Browning
TSB 06-23-2 was released November 2, 2006 and it supersedes TSB 06-18-3 for the turbocharger reconditioning. The main change is that the actuator solenoid is no longer to be replaced. The revised instructions have us replace the return tube for improved return flow. I thought that needed to be pointed out. G. Bedford
The main change for me is the labor time update. My shop has been so timid on M-time, I see now I have been seriously shorted on the one's I have done before.
Torqued_Up
I was watching some warranty talk live on fordstar during lunch and they were talking all about diesel claims. I dont know squat about warranty but it seems to me that if you follow the diagnostic sheets and the pinpint tests you should be fine. They also covered TSB s and a caller asked about a lot of labor operations that dont exist. If you have to do things that are more than what you find documented you must be real good at writing what you did and have seperate punch times. There is no reason to not get paid for legitimate work.
