amailloux
Anyone have a triton apart, have a front cover around, or know the thickness behind the tensioner. She drove in with the belt still on, and if I had to guess, about .030" deep in the front cover. Trying to decide whether to replace it, or slap a tensioner on and ship it. tonybullitt
I wouldnt chance it. We had a truck come in with a nice hole in timing cover and new belt and tensioner laying in fan shroud. Customer said the shop that put it on assured him that it would be ok. It was under a 1k miles before. Obviously I never seen it when they put the tensioner on.
