A quick question re: 2003 6.0 high pressure oil pumps...

Before you ask, it wasn't me... But, it's been a long time since I've replaced a high pressure oil pump on an early build, but, does the new pump come with 1 or 2 plastic plugs during shipping?

I've always had them shipped with a minimum of 1 (in the bottom port) but sometimes and not all the time, they have had plugs capping off the top port.

Thanks. One of the guys here was replacing the HPOP on his own truck, but it wouldn't start afterwards. He had only removed one plug... Which was correct... Cutting the wiring to the IPR apparently caused his issue...

I had that once on an 04 6.0 I did headgaskets on. Wouldn't start after I was done, found the IPR wiring bare underneath all the shielding. Just disturbed it enough to cause an issue.
