Keith Browning
You know, that harness that runs around the front of the engine block? The one with unwrapped sections? The one where the alterntor circuits chafe, rot and break? The harness that is a bitch to access and repair? Why hasn't Ford improved that harness after 5 years of production??? We have discussed this before in THIS TOPIC where any of the three generator circuits are affected causing a P0620, P0625...
Steve Mutter
The same thing happens to the 3.5 ecoboost, agreed why would they still run three small wires loosely in that harness.

2006
I just had a F150 with a 3.7 with the same setup and the same problem, wires rotted out at the r/f corner of the oil pan. Its easier to repair than a 6.
