OEM 19.5 tires on cab and chassis

Hey can any of you guys tell me if Continential HSR comes on the front and HDR comes on the rear of a cab and chassis F450-550 from the factory? Believe it or not we don't have one on the lot.

Nevermind, I had no idea HSR are steer tires and HDR are drive tires.

The way some of these 450/550 with OE tires drive I'm not so sure that the HSR's know they are steer tires.

This truck I'm looking at has HSRs in the front and they're chunked bad from spinning in the mud. The HDRs in the rear are holding up much better.

This truck is getting HDRs in the front.

That sounds right. At least that's what was on the one I changed oil on yesterday. But that was a 4wd pickup.

HSRs are all position tires. HDRs are drive axle only tires. You can get 450s and 550s with HSRs all around, or HSRs on the front and HDRs on the rear. It all depends on who spec'd out the truck, I believe.
