Cummins INLINE 6 Driver Problems

I know there probably are not a lot of guys involved with Cummins engines but I thought I would run this by you.

I have been using Cummins Insite with the INLINE 6 communication adapter connected with the USB cable to my Dell laptop running Windows 10. It has worked for several years now and suddenly the adapter wont work due to a communication failure with the adapter. I have tried reinstalling the adapter after downloading the files again. Removing Insite and reinstalling it. turned off all firewall and anti-virus. Tried running Insite in compatibility mode. If I look in Windows Device manager It shows a driver error. I cant seem to fix it! So I reinstalled Insite to one of the shops laptops and it works just fine on that... Windows 7 pro.
