william
I have not replaced a lot of injectors. this is only the 4th truck and 2nd one I replaced all 8. truck came in for no start. ficm voltage at 48 volts. I had no fault codes when truck came in now I have fault codes for #3 and 5. the truck does start now but missing out on 4 cylinders 2, 3, 5, and 8. I have not had any issues with other injectors I have installed. I suspect I have an issue with the ficm. wires to injectors check ok. it is every other cylinder in the firing order that is missing out. wondering if anyone has ever seen this before. any help would be appreciated. mchan68
Check the middle FICM connector for a proper positive connection, since those very four cylinders that are associated with that connector.
william
Thanks for the info. All wiring checked ok. Ended up replacing whole ficm and fixed the truck.
