Jim Warman
Furbling around I came across https://www.fleet.ford.com/truckBBAS/non-html/Q151.pdf Thankfully, this only appears to apply to gas engines with auto trans.... so far. FWIW, there's lot's of good info on the BBAS website....
Buddy_M
I just found out about that earlier this week while doing a PDI on a couple F-150's, neither me or the other guys in the shop knew about the new starting strategy, would have been nice to at least have a broadcast message or something to clue us in a bit earlier, or maybe I missed it. The only thing that I might see as a problem would be when you just have to bump the engine a little bit or manual compression tests.
