Lost Tools... Coming Back Home

January 2019 I overhauled the rear axle in a Ford Transit and out of convenience stuck my magnetic dial indicator on the underside of the body while I continued working. I forgot it was there and the truck left before I realized what happened. Today that truck was back for the driveshaft recall. So is my rusted up dial indicator! I can laugh about it now but I was pissed at the time.  I bought over 30 years ago and have yet to replace it.

I found a Snap-on magnetic light wedged in between the core support and the body mount once on an 08 F350 from a local concrete company. I called their mechanic. He said he lost it over a year ago and it still worked once I charged it.

My Snap on light came back to me today. It spent 21 days stuck to the bottom of a 2016 Superduty. Still had power in it somehow.

I acquired one like that, used it for a year and a half, now it's gone. I hope someone gets as much use out of it as I did.
