EGR Cooler coolant supply tube support

Anyone seen this before?

 

Nifty little item, it would be nice if there was a note about whether it stays or goes.

 

Seems like it could sustain the temps but what the hell do I know!

yeah I have seen it I think it's just a shipping thing but I generally just leave it on the tube because I figure any extra support can't hurt,it hasn't melted on the trucks I see regular basis. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shrug.gif
