Keith Browning
I did not know there was a calibration like that for the LCF. I tried a recal on one and I couldn't get it to work... needed a dealer code or some kind of code. I haven't had a need to do it but I just WANTED to for the experience... in case I actually NEED to in the future. Do the LCF's fall under the 2006 and newer rule or can we flash them all Willy-Nilly like as we please?

DieselD
yes the inductive program is on the 4.5s now too. It works just as good. The 650-750s are hit and miss tho. I have had some take and others not.
Keith Browning
I finally had to get my NETS login and password today. I flashed a 2006 F650 and I installed the calibration that cycles the injectors after shut down. No inductive heating on this one!
eastendpowerstroke
well good to know I'm putting injectors in an LCF and was considering a reflash but if thats the case I won't
cochran
Is there a problem with the post-cycle flash? Curious to hear opinions on this, as it was a solution for a cold-start issue.
eastendpowerstroke
Jason the biggest problem with the re flash is the annoying post buzz, not one F-Series owner/driver was happy about there truck buzzing for 30 sec after shut down and I can't imagine LCF owners/drivers liking it much either. I know I wouldn't like it. Last time I spoke to a WARM LINE guy I was told that the LCF re flash has inductive heating and the post buzz but I haven't bothered to verify the preheating.
