Kyle E. Grathwol
I have a 2004 F-450 S/D in our fleet that once the a/c is commanded off by the controller, it won't come back on. I replaced the low pressure switch and it was fine for 2 weeks. Came in today for the same problem. A/C is frigid cold when working. Using AutoEnginuity on a laptop to troubleshoot. When it is acting up, there is no input displayed for driver request of a/c and the low pressure input comes in when in my opinion there is too much low side pressure for it to open. Sometimes the a/c will come back on with a few key cycles. Is there a separate module for the climate control for this vehicle? Anyone seen this problem? Thanks in advance for your help. DwayneGorniak
I see alot of these with excessive clutch gap that will not engage when the clutch coil is warm. Check your gap.
Kyle E. Grathwol
Thanks for the reply Dwayne. Yes I've seen that condition before but what has me confused is that the laptop shows a/c not commanded on.
