Keith Browning
While cleaning out my garage my wife asked about a turbo that I have under my work bench. I had forgotten about it. It was going to be scrapped by one of our parts employees as obsolete stock and he asked if I wanted it. For some reason I took it home with absolutely no use for it, but is is worth anything now? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shrug.gif The turbo? oh yeah... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/scratchhead.gif I believe it is from a New Holland engine but it has been so long I cant be sure. I will look for numbers in the casting and post them when I get a chance.

Keith Browning
I took a picture of the tag just to be sure I get this right. From pictures I found it is definitely for a New Holland engine.
LARRY BRUDZYNSKI
Keith it's definitely not a Cummins they didn't put Garrett turbos on only Holset. I did a little checking and came up with a part# only avail. from Sterling/Ford heavy trucks DLM/E7HZ6K682ERM @ $1200.00 list price. Also did find that it will fit 87ish L-series (could fit other years but haven't had time to check. 7.8 Ford Brazilian with 185hp and 210hp only. We don't sell many of these but maybe some of our other members would be interested. Most of the trucks around here are usually 240hp or 270hp. Keith Browning
Thanx Larry, I figured the tag would give enough information to figure out what it is and what it fits. The turbo is in perfect condition and has a minimal amount of surface rust on the cast iron. I took the tape off of the oil drain and there is still clean oil in the bearings so this sucker is good to go. Of course, there is always EBAY... I really don't need it hanging around. I once entertained the thought of making it a cutaway but I have neither the means of properly cutting it or the need for one.
