Loose Injector

This 7.3L fuel injector was likely the victim of improper installation or tightening though a cracked injector cup could also lead to this. Combustion gasses were allowed to pass the copper washer at the tip of the injector and melt the lower fuel o-ring. The damage is quite clear - observe the carbon between the tip and the o-ring.
