Fuel Samples

Fuel samples are an important part of the diagnostic process. We had some interesting samples laying around so we put some in a test tube and took pictures for comparison. Starting with clean #2 diesel on the left the samples progress to water contamination, rust and silt, off road fuel, chemical or biological contamination and lastly cross contamination with engine oil from a 7.3L known as black fuel. It actually has a bluish tint to it.
