Needs a tuner to start. Or jumper the sensors. -
gauge was messed up. All cyl. have 350-400 psi compression.

doing compression test on passenger side. The gauge will spike up to around 200 psi or so, then drop instantly. It wont hold a reading?

Fuel quality good. I've checked the throttle plate in intake also. Air filter good. I have both CAC pipes off also. Going to get a adapter and check compression

Oil/level quality good.

We've tried the block heater. I've taken the regulator off too because the 100 psi fuel press. Changed spring for the heck of it. No change. Like I said it goes to past. 100 psi on our homemade gauge 0-100psi them after 15 secs you will hear the pump make a loud sucking noise and press drops. Everything looks ok at hfcm. Owner said it ran great and not rough before it just died. The ipr I took out of it, the screen was sucked in and the plastic ring that holds the screen was warped, never seen one like that.

Also tried another known good ficm, for shits and giggles. Still nothing. When cranking is spins a little fast and smokes a lot and it wants to try to start. But won't. Not even with ether

We have a 2004 king ranch 6.0 crank no start. had studs and egr delete done some time ago. owner says its a bear to start when cold. then it wouldnt start at all. took to another dealer and they said only building 103 psi hpo. I got it now and it has p0198, and all passenger side bank glow plug circuit codes. i tried another gpcm and codes didnt go away. I put a new IPR in it to see if it would start, and now im building 1,300 psi oil, ficm sync good, ficm Mpower good, when its cranking it bellowing white/grey/black smoke from tailpipe. it acts like it wants to start but just wont. we checked fuel pressure with homemade gauge it it goes over 100psi koeo, then after 18 seconds of key being on you hear the pump like shut off or sucking. the fuel press drops.. any ideas. BTW jerry (rig) him self has been all over this truck

I got the Rear cover off, valve covers and oil rails off. Has anyone tried going through the stand pipe hole? -
Hey guys. I got a 05 6.0 with a cracked branch tube today. I got the pump out. This is my first branch tube replacement. Was wondering if you good guys could give me some pointers/tips. or special tools? Any would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

we had one that smoked white occasionally. customer took vids of it and all. took us a week to drive it and finally got ti to smoke, smells like ammonia. EGR valve was sticking. no other probs, coolers fine,ect...

I hope the the internals are ok, going with a billet cam and new lifters, possibly new pistons coated and springs/pushrods.

this is my personal truck 2005 with 203,000 miles,studded, warren injectors, lots of stuff done to it. ect,ect... been noticing a noise when warm for like 2 months, intermentally. and it goes away. well this weekend I pulled out into the road half throttle, and let off and it was the loudest ive heard it. it went away after a few seconds of idle. its not a knock, its like a chirp/tap. it comes and goes only when warm. im thinking lifter? its runs great. new oil cooler in December 2012, new ipr a few months ago because it had a hole in the screen. what do you guys think? im going to pull it soon.

all buzzes but even bank was weak. Installed new IDM and woolaa everything is all good now. I appreciate all the resposes and offers for a test idm!

don't have a test idm. one will be here today. and in don't hear any water.

got this van in today, runs like crap, only running on odd bank. had koeo #2,4,6,8 injector high low side circuit codes with idm codes present and p1294. installed uvc harness and gasket. no change other than each individual injector codes. now just getting odtc P1294. and #2,4,6,8 contribution/balance. Ohm tested each injector on that bank. ohm tested wiring, got power to uvc harness, load tested wiring. Pinpoint test is saying replace IDM. anything im missing?

No prob. FRP was biased. #7 injector had 15 drop. manual compression was good. Replaced frp, injector. Still have lope idle. Tried a test Fuel pcv. all good now.
