Prep the customer for sure on the fact that FoMoCo has certain warranty terms..eg they will not cover installation errors ect. Or your HPFP warranty will only cover manufacturer defects. You already document all your stuff so present your findings whatever they are in a diplomatic way and..
Since you are a teacher this could be a teaching moment
Couldn't a circuit or control valve fault be proven with a DSO and amp clamp without any exploratory surgery?
99' 7.3L ESOF hub leaking vacuum. Had to remove the rotor to pinpoint the leak, I have never had the bearing leak. Smoke machines are a great invention. This one would leak vacuum & smoke until you spun the bearing then I would not leak smoke until after you pulled a vacuum on it.

I would probably start with Mouser. Try to find any numbers on the connector...pics would also help. If I remember those are gold plated.
Maybe DU2Z-14474-CA??
Also maybe call Ford Racing Techline 1-800-367-3788
If all else fails it would seem that PR Ford has a known good on their lot
With +10 I would be running a relative compression test. Did you reset the injector trims after the HPFP?...and any other adaptations or reflash/updates? I don't remember what they are off the top of my head....I am hoping I washed my hands of the 6.4L
They have some interesting stuff on that site.
I am thinking about getting that TFD-BJR if it will work on the lower control arms on the Fusion. If any knows for sure I'd be interested??? I called them & they seemed to think it would.
I started using dishwashing soap & water to clean my safety glasses. Put a couple drops of soap, rub between your finger & thumb, rinse with water. Then blow dry with shop air....your glasses are now anti-fog
Had a broken control arm bushing on a 2011 Fusion. Ford does not sell just the bushing. Replacement with Ford parts would require a steering knuckle(3K185)wheel bearing(1215)& ect. I ordered the bushing from Mazda GJ6A 33 023C.
This should fit Ford CD3/CDE platforms. eg. Fusion/Milan/Zephyr/MKZ
I installed the bushing with a thrust bearing, washer & bolt. I also used Loctite 680
It's hard to say which of the two conditions when done poorly will drag a person down more, personnel or work space....Tune both and you are more likely to soar
'11 Fusion lower control arm has the flange broke on the steering knuckle to control arm sleeve/bushing. I have never seen one break. Ford does not sell just the bushing it comes with the steering knuckle. I take it no one else sells the bushing?
