  1. Alright I've been checking out the cataloging for the 6.4. The P.M. parts I came up with so far are. Air FA1886 7C3Z9601B Fuel FD4609 8C3Z9N184A Trans FT144 3C3Z7A098AA Inline Trans FT176 7C3Z7B155B Oil... I can't find. Have they put it somewhere else????
  2. Hey guy's the original question from Torqued-up was on the 7.3's not the 6.0's. On the 7.3's we get the a/m gaskets from Napa pt # 16314 about $20.00 a set. or machine the manifolds or replace them. On the 6.0's we obviously use the 5C4Z9448A on them.
  3. Maybe I may be mistaken but I don't think so. Please if I am refresh me with a part #. If there is a gasket avail. I know of a lot of Tech's that will be very happy.
  4. No gaskets machine surface only, you can get a/m if manifold is warped, or machine manifold flat.
  5. Be careful!!! I just spoke to my local rebuilder on these pumps. You need to pull this pump and bench repair it. When you pull this IPR restrictor plug there is a ceramic check ball way up inside it and will possibly fall out, if it does and you find it you will have to pull the IPR and reinstall the ball in the IPR bore. If the check ball is lost then you have no choice but to replace the pump. As for the o'ring they said that tou can use a hi-temp Viton o'ring, but make sure you check your threads on the pump real common to blow out and strip the threads. If it's o'k when you reinstall the torque on the plug is 22-28in.lbs.
  6. No there are no parts avail. for these. We had Isuzu buy a couple of LCF's and these had the ccv systems on them, they wanted to purchase the ccv for testing, which is when I found out about the problem that they have/had with these. It was actually kinda funny because we had these trucks here with the ccv on them and tech. line tells me that these trucks did not have these on them. We sent digital photos to them to prove they were wrong. Which is when they came up with the tsb. (Go figure)
  7. No the 05> up will not fit. For your application you could have either one of these 3L3Z.1503100.AA nags # DW-01256-GTN w/o shade band F65Z.1503100.AA nags # DW-01256-GBN w shade band I'm not quite sure if you could use the Harley Davidson w/s or not. I think the only difference is the Harley emblem on the glass. I hope this helps.
  8. I've seen that TSB, but I can't seem to find it right now. It has to do with removing the ccv and installing just a breather hose down the side of the block. I sent this to Keith maybe he still has it, I'll keep looking and let you know.
  9. Hey Jim and anybody else on the Canada side. If needed I can get these for you and ship them. The U.S. PDC's show plenty in stock. Just let me know.
  10. Powerstroke rep. was just in and had this on DVD, he also had a booklet on this. Was pretty cool, I just hope that Ford uses this to educate the end user. But we all know what's going to happen in the near future.
  11. 14-ML-688-ML- Belongs with Fuels and additives... No big deal.
  12. Our Powerstroke rep. was just in the new additives for the 6.4 of which have not been released as of yet. U.S. Motorcraft cetane booster and perf. improver PM22A Canada use PM22B Motorcraft anti-gel and perf. improver PM23A Canada use PM23B
  13. Ok, Jim so now we officially have a "Tim the Toolman Taylor" amidst us. The next thing I'm waiting to hear is that it needs "More power"!!!
  14. I don't think so, but we have a lot of landscapers and such that get their trucks out of state. They think that it's a good deal until they have to pay to fix them.
  15. This isn't possibly a "flood" damage truck or something like it? I've seen some pretty messed up trucks come thru here that were from down south re: Katrina. 2004 with only 11,000 miles seems like low mileage to me.
  16. Cataloging shows the 12B637 as the injector harness, but if you pull up the 9D930 it gives the clip part # over in the description as a foot note. Glad to help!!!
  17. I'm on it, I think I seen something on that before. Now have you seen the TSB for the LCF 9C968 connector water intrusion fix?
  18. Does anybody know if we can use the Mercon SP(XT2QSP)in place of the Synth. Mercon(XT6QSM)? I do know that for the Torqueshift trans we have to use the SP. but can we use it for the older applications?
  19. Yeah Keith we try to be the same way with the techs. The concern I have is that the way it sounds we'll all be on a learning curve with this launch. Ford actually sounds like they have thought this one out a little better than the 6.0. It would be really nice to have more info for the parts side available. As for me I'm a nosey bugger anyway and will dig until I find what I want.
  20. ktmlew, sorry to see you go. Ford Doctor, in regards to your post anything you can do to help the parts guy's help you. If you pass that info on about the parts that have to be replaced, might make it easier if the parts dept. knows ahead of time and maybe keep them in stock for quicker turn around time. As for me thanks for the heads up.
  21. Let's see how many of you find this as funny as I do. My Blue Diamond rep just came in and had a 6.0 training DVD supposedly for parts. It looked more like a sales dept thing, there was no technical info what so ever. It only had basic info as which oil to use and which filters to use. This was totally useless. On the brighter side he did also come in with a few 7.3-6.0 coffee table books on DVD. If anybody needs or wants one send me a note.
  22. The round bullet style. I thought I came across these before, but I'm having that old guy syndrome(CRS).
  23. So I take it your response is TFB haha I have 1 and you don't.
  24. Hey guy's just sold my last F3TZ9A451A not even thinking about them being obsolete. Now I need the white glow plug connectors anybody have a source for these?
