Yes it was! We NEVER deny warranty, its up to Ford to decide.

This sounds like the vehicle i just worked on. I tore trans down and did a service part warranty prior approval, Ford sent out an inspector, took pictures and denied the warranty. I had no choice in the matter. I belive customer was from Penn.

my service manager just talked to Ford and they said the bracket kit won't be avaiable until Decmber! Looks like i'll be doing repair without bracket!!

Thanks i'll try calling Fords Diesel engineers to see if I can get the part that way. Our parts department got a fax from Ford that said it wont be available until June.
