remove the L/F wheel well pull the studs out of the front and unbolt and remove the dipstick and the coolant hose it will slide right out pull it out the bottom. I was scared the first time I did one but it was almost to easy.

we picked, robed, plundered, and pillaged every car we got,tires lenses,fuses, trim, right down to picking through for loose change.(were not to proud) I got 4 tires,an aluminum wheel for my spare,and a EVP solenoid for my F150. we had a bit of a used parts store at the back of the shop. Cleared around $600 and we all went out for huge steaks and libations.

If a conservative slips and falls in a store, he gets up, laughs and is embarrassed. If a liberal slips and falls, he grabs his neck, moans like he's in labor and then sues.

We have had to use aftermarket cats on a few f-150's due to no availably of parts. I've noticed lately that a lot of parts normally in stock at the local PDC now must come from some place else.

Now where were we? Oh yeah: the important thing was I had an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

http://www.fastfittings.com/product/32012 Drill out and tap the radiator with a 1/4 npt tap and Teflon tape/Teflon pipe dope the fitting and thread it into the radiator. if it's not over tightened it is in my opinion a permanent repair

did you check / remove the exhaust and try it? did you try doing the Compression bubble test?

My own I got through this same deal has a "Snap on" brand sticker on it with 1/2 input 3/4 output,I suspect any others to be the same.

I happen to have acquired an extra 4 to 1 torque multiplier. It makes torquing 6.0L 6.4L or any other head bolts a unpleasant dream and not the full wake up sweating and screaming nightmare they are with out it. I don't need two of them so for the BARGAIN PRICE of $220 (plus actual shipping cost) you can take it home with you. I'll try to send it USPS flat rate but I don't know if that works to Canada.
