  1. I saved it as an attachment to this topic so we have it archived.
  2. We have discussed the sensor issue in the past and the PSD having one would have alleviated a lot of diagnostic problems for us. As to why it was not put there on the PSD we will probably never know. Not needed because of the EP feedback? Not enough clearance between the top of the turbo and the bottom of the cowl? Cost? One of Ford's "better ideas?" The World may never know.
  3. Plastic unison ring? Hooooooo man that's freaking funny!
  4. These were under warranty Mike so of course we got shafted. Never thought about how much to charge customer pay. I would suggest reviewing the removal procedure, looking up the SLTS time and adding 30% and evaluate if there is anything special with the vehicle that is going to take extra time... i.e. bus equipment.
  5. We had a couple where the vacuum line failed near the vacuum reservoir which required removing the plenum on the engine side of the firewall but you will still need to access the dash to remove the nuts. Have fun!
  6. I was really looking for details for now. If someone wants it by all means sell it. Money is tight and there are at least 100 other things I need more than a torque multiplier though I could use it once a year or so. Cute kid. Does she come with the wrench? Just kiddin. I already have two little long haired screamers running around the house.
  7. Holy CRAP! What a mess. Dwayne I fixed your post with the pictures in it.
  8. What did you do Bruce - pull a gun on the guy? It amazes me that people sell things and have no clue as to what they have. Ever go to garage sales and yard sales?
  9. Dirty and slow Larry. Many people don't realize that modern automotive diesel engines are responsive and higher revving than they used to be. Perhaps it was getting caught behind Volvo turbo diesels on hills back in the 1970's that did to us.
  10. I know we discussed this but I can't find the topic at the moment. I keep a few fittings around that have threads on one end and a barbed nipple on the other - can't say what size as I am bad with that. This fitting is similar to the one that is supplied with a new 6.0L intake manifold for the MAP hose.
  11. I hear you on that. It is almost refreshing!
  12. Is there any substance to the information I heard that the Ford Medium duty trucks are going to cease production shortly? I was told no LCF's or 650/750 Super Duty trucks. Obviously this would indicate the end of Blue Diamond Trucks - no?
  13. Oooh, you are right... they did away with that. I recently did a couple 2004/2005 trucks that had that set up.
  14. You have to buy the small harness that connects everything on the filter housing and the IPR as far as I know.
  15. Well, look at it this way, bodies are still being "lifted" in that building.
  16. I am still waiting for the effect on emissions to become an issue or gain the interest of the EPA. I have seen other discussions on other venues that have come to a similar conclusion that NOx reduction of these coolers is insufficient. If this is the case it is only a matter of time before someone gets slapped with a hellaceous fine. (that's big money) I don't think selling cores to these people is an offence...
  17. I remember when I first posted that avatar - you lost a mouthful of rye and coke or something like that. If it went up your nose it might have been as unpleasant as a brain freeze.
  18. Looking at your current avatar might provide some insight as to why YOU will do this and then quickly repeat the action.
  19. Silly questions: What drive size is this multiplier and brand?
  20. For me the best cure for a hangover is a cold beer.
