  1. The recall only affects injectors installed in the indicated vehicles as far as I know. I think it would much harder to track serviced injectors. as of today the ordering restrictions have been released: "The purpose of this update is to inform dealers that service parts are now available for open ordering."
  2. I keep finding reference to the following tool: D94T 6600 A Cant find an image or description for the tool number, searching Rotunda comes up blank!
  3. It's the block off tool I need help with. I get a little over 350 PSI - rises quickly to that too. ICPV KOEO is at 0.19 volts. I just need to be able to block off the heads and then dead head the pump... I still have my block off that I made. What I need is the other fitting that the sensor goes into so I can dead-head the pump and test the left head using the ICP sensor.
  4. I have an early build 7.3L DI with the old style threaded high pressure oil lines. I used to have a block off and sensor adapter I rigged up to test the high pressure system... Now I cannot find them. I know I lent them out! Is there now, or was there EVER block off tools made for these lines? I have the quick connect style but that obviously does me no good... unless I have to convert the truck over to the new fittings and lines... Any advice? I have a P1212 that I do not want to throw parts at.
  5. I totally understand the clearance issue. But I personally dont like being dirtier than necessary and my floor is frequently wet in spots... laying on a cold damp concrete surface is supposedly not good for the human body. However, if I had spiffy coveralls like you I might behave differently. Sincerely, A. Pussie
  6. Do your Canadian gages read BOTH MPH and KMH? Ours have both with MPH in large print on the outer edge of the dial and KMH in smaller print inside. The other information in the Message Center is configurable which affects the odometer and odometer related features. Mind you, I am only going by the information printed in the WSM and the Owner Guide... I have NEVER actually sat in an F150 in probably 7 years now.
  7. You can view Owners Guides In FMC Dealer in the vehicle session page, they are listed under the "Other" tab then select "Owner Information." Here is what you are looking for if the Owners Guide is not in the vehicle:
  8. Ohhhh wow. I totally DID NOT understand what you wrote. Um, The program I told you about, while very useful will do nothing like what you asked. Back to your original question, I am under the impression that all modern cars and trucks with electronic instrumentation can change between English and metric units. You can fiddle with the cluster or consult the Owners Manual for instructions... I am sure it is also in the shop manual.
  9. Download and install this little program called Convert - http://www.joshmadison.com/software/convert/ I use this for all of my conversions and it comes in handy a lot! Keep it on your PC and make an Icon on your desktop or quick start menu so it is handy.
  10. Actually they were smallish but still very nicely sized and firm. And yes, the clip you sent me is the same one.
  11. This is kinda cool but this inability to test freeze point has negative potential for obvious reasons. Glycerin is also used in gages and is used as a base for... soap! Thanks for the link Larry, I'll add it to the Diesel Mentor directory.
  12. Hey Jim? Would you take a picture of this test if you do it? Puh-Leeeeeeze!
  13. How do you invite people you cant reach? This site gets members by word of mouth and the occasional invitation... I contact guys from FMC dealer that post thier e-mail adderess and they think this is some kind of trap. I really don't know what else to do.
  14. Jonathan, your English is showing! Thank you for the kind feedback on the site.
  15. Well thats fine, we HAVE all of the other parts in stock... just not the rear adapter And thank you guys for the quick help!!! I am going to have to visit this site more often.
  16. So the International kit 1814682C93 is the entire assembly? And to clarify Larry is this 1820653C1 the adapter I am looking for? Rear end cap with the oil filter fitting? I have an International dealer near us sooo that would be the best solution altogether.
  17. I was going to ask about the anti-seize too. I am coating the valve and the bore.
  18. These things are sticking in the housings. The last one I had broke my tool and I ended up replacing the intake elbow. Got a good picture of this broken valve in the intake?
  19. Thanx Larry, and everyone else - we tried the same sources with the same result. Used is an acceptable option if we can't find a new one. I'll have Chris try to get a # off this thing... it is pretty corroded.
  20. Please help! Looking for a 7.3L PSD oil cooler end cap Part# F81Z-6881-BA We are told that this part has been on backorder since October 2008. Anyone? Willing to pay to obtain part for customer!!!
  21. I have had the honor of breaking BOTH plastic tubes! I have much respect for them now. As for the recall and the add on pump, you can get M-time as needed for aftermarket/add on equipment. As per the recall instructions (as always) you need to call the support center as listed in the recall, describe what you need to do and make separate time clock punches for the actual time. THEN you call them back to tell them the times and get an approval code, dollar amount, and operation code. I was paid an extra 2.5 for accessing the shroud, fan, stator, belt and bracket. It is a fair deal.
  22. MEEEEEEEE! I finished this one today as a matter of fact. It needed all 8 too. The bad part on this truck was there was a hydraulic pump mounted on a big ass bracket preventing removal of the right valve cover.
