  1. so maybe P0128/P0196 are not false codes after all? so what does this mean for the tee fitting recall,replaced the rad, thermostats and install the tee fitting

  3. I had one like that,never found the screen but it did not matter much because the truck was getting a long block because of a split injector tip
  4. no, I just used a block of wood and a jack under the bellhousing,lifted it up till I could get the motor mount out,this way you don't have to take the hole stator out
  5. the tool we had for the 3v would get used so much that it would bend out of shape,I always had to give it a little bend back everytime I used it to push the valve down to get the clearance
  6. left side motor mount it is,I just did injectors on that side today,I don't know what it is but this seems to be the week that everyone is getting there there e-series fixed?

  11. egr valves are hard to get but now dpf's are now back order with no date,what is going on in ford land,this whole not being able to get parts to fix trucks is getting dumb! are you guys seeing more plugged filters after this recall? could it be from people not doing that drive cycle,I think it is like half and half,half the people liked it when it would regen at idle and the other half did not know what regen was? oh well

I had a 6.0 that had a stiction problem,so I did the tsb 08-26-3,did all the test and found the ficm was ok,the truck did not have inductive heat so I reprogramed and re tested, the truck runs good now,got the claim kicked back because they said I did not follow the tsb? I don't know what ford wants from us but it is getting dumb how much they are kicking back, how many of you guys get pay deduction if a claim get kicked back? they don't do that hear but I have talk to some techs that have to deal with it all the time,thats a raw deal!

  17. we will have to wait and see,I think back when the 2008's were coming out the diesel package for econoline was up in the air for a little bit as well, I wounder what they will do as of 2010 when IH and ford split up?
  18. if it is a wix filter there are two types,the filter comes with a warning,if you have that spring standpipe type you are to use a different part #,maybe they have the wrong jobber filter as well,I have see it a couple of times now where they have the wix cap and a ford oil filter in there,these wix filters are just a big mess waiting to happen

  20. I have a e-box with p0657 hard fault and p0962 in history,I checked out that tsb but can not find a bare wire at c195,is there any other places that are know for chafing? anyone got any tips?

  22. somtimes you just need paper work to help your point if you have a problem truck and if the customer does not what to work with you,I do try and keep an open mind with everything, and do what I can to do to try and fix stuff,I see your point
