  1. I think we handled it exactly how it should have been. His view was the total perception of the "people" on powerstroke sites that bash "stealership's." This was the first chance for us to defend ourselves. He poked....we retaliated.   3. This happened to me on a 7.3 EXACT SAME THING. Fought for a week with manager saying it was a PCM, hotline said no way... i ordered one behind his back and WALA, it was fixed... Owner said truck never ran better. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbup.gif

  11. Yea i didnt break any a/c,p/s etc etc lines either...just disconnected the trans lines to the radiator.
  12. OMG, i love that wire chafe... I remember my first one...i was driving 01 7.3L F-550 ( customer was complaining of a bearing noise ) and the truck lost pedal, cluster all that major stuff on the CKT but still idled. I sat there like.... WTF. Then came back to the shop and figured it out. I had one on a 04F-350 with a 6.0 and torqshift in it also.

  18. The diesel guys im happy with...once or twice i'll get a moron. The gasoline guys are assholes IMHO. Best call I've ever had...a year ago when the axle recall was happening on the hybrids, i had one where i couldn't the axle apart (center shaft from outer shaft). I tried, we all tried, i called hotline ( manager wanted me to check for known concerns cause i was the first one to do it) and i was bounced to 3 different sections...i got to the driveline guys...he wasnt sure....so he was going to ask the manual trans guy /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/scratchhead.gif who was next to him... after 15min he came back to me and said "well i really dont know what to tell you...did you try heating it up " in the backround the manual trans guy screams, " jesus, no don't tell him to do that, u'll mess up the axle, " Long pause........... i'd say replace the whole assembly. I was laughing my ass off and was like ok.... (that claim got bounced, even with hotline's rec. )

  21. +1 But with more failures = labor times going in the toilet to compensate the loss....then supa-techs will do shitty work to beat the labor time, brag about it on the message board, then ford cuts it again and then we are f'd.

  23. You guys hit the nail on the head.....ive been preaching this unfairness for too long.
  24. Cannot service it...already been down that road. on Edit.... The HP oil is what seats it. I wiggled it around, when i was bored, and got it loose....then air leak tested the HP system. Had air leak at all 4 injector tops. Cranked the engine over til i saw over 500psi ICP....rechecked...air leak gone. ( i was bored and wanted to test Hotline's answer to one of my questions )
