The programing portion was quicker than the 22 minutes stated on the screen it was maybe 5 minutes. then wait he 10 minutes. I did use a very large usb drive 128GB

I hear you Steve. Keep going...New opportunities...down a slightly different path.

I have completed a few of these. The ones here went right through with no issues. I will say that you have to follow the instructions closely. I think the completion words on the screen state complete then go away. Honestly I didn't have any issues

p1206 , replaced injector and overlayed harness
batmantech replied to Dane M's topic in 6.7L Power Stroke® Diesel Engines
Did you ohm check all injectors on the bank that is missing? PPT P2 check them after driving and its missing. Easily done at the PCM connector. I had one that only failed the ohm check after driving it. -

yep that's interesting. Seems like more errors in these manuals lately. (report a problem needs a VIN so i cant send one in) -
I just finished one last week. It had the exact same sound. The truck was a 2021 with over 100,000 miles 12 months old construction truck runs all the time. One camshaft lobe was worn pitted (looked like an old bearing) and the roller lifter did not spin right could get to spots where it would not turn. Customer said it just started. Replaced cam and lifters that fixed it. (A few were reported on hotline past reports.)

That IPR is maxed out. I would air pressure check it again. Listen close to both sides. I would bet it has a leak. Possibly STC fitting --snap to connect on high pressure pump. (Your fighting air in this system after a repair it needs to be driven to remove. I have no experience with the BG wallet flushes , but that could have also induced more problems) -

batmantech replied to greg.gustaf's topic in 6.0L Power Stroke® Diesel Engines
Lets start at the beginning, So it ran fine came in for oil change and you stated "sold fuel injection". What is that? Also you stated after replacing the stand pipe "it took forever to start". it should crank long after that repair. Did you drive to bleed the air out of the system? -
Its's $4.19 a gallon today , few days ago I paid $4.24 per gallon

Late 2004 6.0 hick-ups while driving
batmantech replied to Fordracer's topic in 6.0L Power Stroke® Diesel Engines
So the replacement harness was bad? You stated in the first post, " I replaced the ignition switch, PCM relay, and an engine harness that came with the injector harness last summer. " Injector harness failures I have seen ,when you push down on them, they ground to the intake -
We have both on shelf FD-4641 has primary filter, secondary filter and rectangle gasket FD 4625-AA has those , the only difference is it has HC3Z-9A317-A included inside in it. Its a black locking clip that goes over the connection.

Is the tech shortage affecting you?
batmantech replied to Keith Browning's topic in The Water Cooler
Zach that is how it goes here too. You try to help the guy out show them what went wrong so they do not repeat it. And what happens... You are the bad guy. "don't say anything ,they might leave and there is no one else" -
New guy on the balancer?
