My shop has a door rate of $73 for most work $79 for diesel. I have a backlog of work all the time and turn 30 to 35 hours every week. This year I have had only one 40 hour pay check. Last year I had only 7. We just picked up the bigger trucks. Got CAT school soon. I am pushing for hourly pay. If they don't go hourly I go away!

I have replaced cooler only before.

I have heard that the glowplug harnesses are truly glued in (navistar FSE). I have had to pick the hard plastic plugs out with a good set of picks before. Best of luck.

I have pulled more than 15 cabs in the last two years. No big deal. My FSE don't blink when he see it done. Beware.... The first one you do is a dog and pony show. Everyone will stop to take a look.
