I have called the hotline on these & they requested digital photos because if left for too long Ford does not feel you will be able to get block sufficiently cleaned potentially creating hotspots in block. The decisive factor seemed to be the amount of solid sludge from radiator. They made the call but I've done 2 longblock replacements with all new hoses,radiator, & heater core per Ford's instruction. I have to wonder how long these trucks drove like this.
